Editorial Policies

Editor-in-Chief

The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the overall scientific quality, editorial direction, ethical standards, and publication decisions of the journal. The Editor-in-Chief oversees the peer-review process and ensures transparency, fairness, and academic integrity in all publications.

Associate Editors

Associate Editors assist the Editor-in-Chief in managing manuscript submissions, coordinating peer review, evaluating reviewer comments, and recommending editorial decisions.

Editorial Board Members

Editorial Board Members provide subject expertise, support peer review activities, promote the journal, and contribute to maintaining scientific quality and publication ethics.

Eligibility Criteria for Editorial Positions

Editor-in-Chief Ph.D. in Life Sciences or Related Discipline Minimum 10 years academic/research experience with publications
Associate Editor Ph.D. or Equivalent Minimum 5 years teaching/research experience
Editorial Board Member Ph.D. / Senior Faculty / Research Scientist Active research and publication record
Reviewer Master's Degree / Ph.D. Relevant expertise in subject area

Editorial Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.
  • Ensure objective and unbiased peer review.
  • Avoid conflicts of interest.
  • Uphold publication ethics and integrity.
  • Protect author and reviewer confidentiality.
  • Support transparency in editorial decisions.
  • Promote high-quality scientific communication.

Conflict of Interest Policy

Editors and reviewers must disclose any personal, financial, institutional, or professional conflicts of interest that may influence their decisions. Individuals with significant conflicts shall recuse themselves from handling the manuscript.

Publication Ethics

The journal follows internationally accepted standards of publication ethics. Plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate publication, and unethical research practices are strictly prohibited. Manuscripts found violating ethical standards may be rejected, retracted, or corrected as necessary.

Editorial Independence

All editorial decisions are made independently based on scientific merit, originality, relevance, and ethical compliance without influence from sponsors, advertisers, institutions, or authors.

Term of Appointment

Editorial Board Members are generally appointed for a renewable term of three years based on academic contribution, participation in peer review, and commitment to the journal's mission.
