Retraction & Correction Policy

BioResire Journal of Life Sciences (BJLS) is committed to maintaining the integrity, accuracy, transparency, and reliability of the scientific record. When significant errors, ethical concerns, or research misconduct are identified, BJLS may issue corrections, expressions of concern, or article retractions in accordance with international publishing standards.

Purpose of this Policy

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that published literature remains accurate, trustworthy, and scientifically reliable while preserving transparency in scholarly communication.

  • Serious methodological errors affecting conclusions.

Retraction Procedure

  1. Receipt of allegation or identification of concern.
  2. Preliminary editorial assessment.
  3. Communication with authors for clarification.
  4. Independent review of evidence.
  5. Editorial decision by Editor-in-Chief.
  6. Publication of retraction notice if required.
  7. Notification to indexing services and databases where applicable.

Retraction Notice

A retracted article shall remain accessible in the journal archive to preserve the scholarly record; however, it will be clearly marked as "RETRACTED" on all versions of the article. A formal retraction notice explaining the reason for retraction shall be published and permanently linked to the article.

Author Appeals

Authors may appeal editorial decisions related to corrections or retractions by submitting documented evidence within 30 days of notification. Appeals will be reviewed independently by the editorial office, and the final decision of the Editor-in-Chief shall be binding.

Responsibilities of Authors

  • Promptly notify the journal of significant errors discovered after publication.
  • Cooperate fully with editorial investigations.
  • Provide supporting documents and raw data when requested.
  • Maintain transparency throughout the investigation process.
